Like Katie, I'm so excited that fall is here. I'm always torn between fall and winter as my favorite season. I always look forward to the smell and feeling of a fall morning. I've been working out in the yard quite a bit, planting some mums and pansies, and over-seeding the backyard. Working outside is infinitely more enjoyable in the fall compared to the summer.
Work is moving along for me these days. I've been working in the surgical ICU, and this will be my last week. It'd be a nice rotation if it weren't for the hours, the surgeons, the hours, and the surgeons. Anyway, I move back to the operating room next week, which I look forward to.
Like Katie said, we picked up a couple pumpkins during our trip to Greenwood this weekend. Pictures don't give justice to how beautiful the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains are out there, but we tried anyway! I'll include a few for everyone to enjoy:
