1. DANIEL WAS MADE CHIEF!! Woopwoop! He was one of three voted chief out of a class of 16. All residents voted.
2. Um. Maybe this should not have been a list, as I only have one new super important thing I can think of...
Well, Tyndall is still teething (EIGHT and counting) and gets better at scooting every day. She tries to crawl on her hands and knees but doesn't seem quite strong enough yet. She is pulling up, too. Danger! Danger! Warning! Our house is mostly babyproofed, if you were wondering. Outlets covered with plans to lock cabinets that have dangerous substances in them. Plan to move houseplants into a no-baby zone. We also picked out carpet to put in our basement, so we are moving forward with basement renovation plans. We are also going to the beach over Easter since Daniel and I both have that week off for vacation! Tyndall's first beach trip! We will take lots of pictures. Oh it also snowed. Tyndall was indifferent. She liked to watch the dogs run in the snow. I imagine it won't be fun until she can run around and catch snowflakes on her tongue and make snow angels and eat snow cream.
In other news, I have been making baby food. It's fun. It's easy. It's cheap. Tyndall hearts it. Here are before and after pictures.
As you can see, she loves it.
Also, we bought a baby jogger. My argument for it was that having a jogging stroller would compel me to run/exercise. Hah. Just kidding. It's just much easier to maneuver, particularly with the dogs. But I did get a teensie bit excited about the possibility of jogging with Tyndall in it. So jogging strollers are hundreds of dollars unless you buy a used one. On Friday, I spotted one for sale for $50 on Craigslist. I went to their house, offered them $40, and it was officially ours! The couple had taken pretty good care of the stroller, but it was well-used and the canvas fabric had faded and the reflective things had peeled off. I had some more reflective tape, so I fixed that pretty easily. Then I went to Michael's and bought some navy dye. I'm pretty proud of myself since I am not that crafty. Before and After:
Just like new.
